On July 22, 2001, volunteer curators Peter Mcloughlin and Barbara Taylor of the Swalcliffe Barn Museum in Swalcliffe, Oxfordshire, England, showcased a Roman vase found during an archaeological dig at Swalcliffe Lea. The vase was one of several items that were for sale exclusively at the barn. The barn was commissioned 600 years ago on August 4th. A mosaic floor section and a haycart were also found during the dig, and a copy of a similar haycart was on display.
